YESSONGS Italy klingen wirklich gut (Jomo hat das auch nach dem letzten Konzert im ColosSaal bestätigt), weshalb ich Relayer, CTTE und Ritual schon gerne erleben würde. Ob CTTE und Ritual dann nach dem Original oder nach Moraz klingen werden? Das QPR-Konzert war natürlich 1975.

Freu ich mich drauf - die spielen einfach klasse! Und Sound Chaser, To be over, Gates stellen halt mal wirklich ´ne Abwechslung dar - im Gegensatz zu unseren "heroen", die für mich leider vollends eine vorwärts gerichtete künstlerische Entwicklung als "YES" eingestellt haben, schade...

just in case you can´t be bothered digging out my review of their gig in Aschaffenburg last year. Here it is again.
I know for many fans it´s a long way to go and see a ´cover´band, but it´s really worth it. John

just a very quick review of the show in Colosaal Aschaffenburg - BRILLIANT
It´s a real pity I don´t hear or see more credit being given to this band on and around this forum. They play superb, they performed with the energy of a `young´ YES, and they have a great time on stage doing it. They are Yes fans playing Yes music and loving it. I would love to hear from anyone else who has seen them live and hear their views on the shows.
I had a talk with the singer and he told me that they may be back next year performing the Relayer tour. Nothing is finalized, but it´s an idea they´re working on. I can only say one thing to that .. YES !!

btw They played the complete YESSONGS triple album ( minus Roundabout - it´s a time problem with all bands in the Colosaal - they must finish at 12.00, no discussion ), with one new song included, The Ancient and Leaves of Green medley, just guitar and vocals. magical.

Following a successful series of tours --over the past three years-- of Europe’s most famous Music Clubs, Yessongs Italy is finally back. After playing the glorious 1972/73 setlist the band is now preparing a new show, unprecedented for a tribute band, featuring the reproduction of the entire Relayer album and the setlist of 1974 Queens Parks Ranger concert in London; on that occasion the talented keyboard player Patrick Moraz joined Yes to replace Rick Wakeman, who left in order to pursue his solo career.

Schon ganz schön mutig von den Italys, sich an Relayer zu wagen. Außer von "Soon" finden sich kaum Live-Coverversionen - oder ich hab sie einfach übersehen. Eine tolle Sound Chaser - Version gibt`s von "Parallels". Schade, dass YSI donnerstags in AB spielen - wäre ein schöner Anlass, sich zu treffen.

Schade, dass YSI donnerstags in AB spielen - wäre ein schöner Anlass, sich zu treffen.
