UK four disc (three CD + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) set. Esoteric Recordings is pleased to announce the release of this anthology celebrating the career of celebrated synthesiser and electronic ambient music pioneer Tim Blake. Tim first came to prominence as a member of Gong where his synthesiser experimentation and mastery was demonstrated on albums such as Flying Teapot, Angel's Egg and You. He would also join Hawkwind from 1979 - 1980 and from November 2007. This anthology celebrates Tim's work both as a member of Gong and Hawkwind and as a solo artist and includes tracks from all stages of his career. Most interestingly, Lighthouse also features eight previously unreleased recordings, including three from The Birth of Crystal Machine in the 1970s, along with three recordings from the so-called Forgotten Tapes and two tracks recorded live in Amsterdam and Exeter in 2006 and 2009 respectively. As a final highlight, the anthology includes a bonus DVD featuring a previously unreleased recording of Tim Blake's appearance on French television in April 1979 performing 'Generator (Laser Beam)', 'Passage Pour La Cité Des Révélations', 'Lighthouse' and 'New Jerusalem'.

Esoteric Recordings is proud to announce the release of a newly re-mastered and expanded CD & DVD edition of the classic self-titled debut album by GREENSLADE. Formed in 1972 by former Colosseum keyboard player Dave Greenslade, the band also featured former Web and Samurai member Dave Lawson (keyboards, vocals), former Colosseum bass player Tony Reeves and drummer Andrew McCulloch (formerly with King Crimson and Fields). The calibre of the members of Greenslade ensured that the group would be innovative, ground breaking and dynamic in their musical approach and would also be notable due to the absence of a guitarist within their ranks. Originally issued in November 1973, "Bedside Manners Are Extra" was a fine debut album and featured such classic compositions as the album title track, "Pilgrims Progress", "Time to Dream" and "Sunkissed You're Not".Considered by many to be a band at their finest on stage, this expanded edition of Bedside Manners Are Extra includes three previously unreleased bonus tracks on the CD of the band's BBC Radio One session recorded in October 1973. The set also includes a bonus DVD featuring a recently discovered and previously unreleased Warner Bros. Promotional film featuring the songs Drowning Man, Temple Song and Melange and Greenslade's appearance on the BBC TV "Old Grey Whistle Test" from November 1973 featuring live performances of Pilgrims Progress and Bedside Manners Are Extra. This Esoteric Recordings expanded edition has been newly re-mastered from the original master tapes and features an illustrated booklet with many rare cuttings and includes an essay by Malcolm Dome and exclusive interviews with Dave Greenslade and Dave Lawson.
