Jon's "In the City of Angels", aus dem Jahr 1985 wird am 3. Mai 2024 wieder veröffentlicht. Typisch 80er der Sound, der mich an Toto erinnert.
Kein Wunder eine ganze Reihe von Toto-Musikern wirkt mit. Ab 1:38 steht ein guter Bekannter am Kontrabass, obwohl der auf
dem Original-Song nicht spielt. So schlecht fand ich das Album nicht.

Für YES wäre es besser gewesen einen Nachfolger von 90125 zu veröffentlichen. Ich glaube "Big Generator" wäre erfolgreicher
gewesen, wenn es zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlicht worden wäre. Ab er es kam wie es kam ...

A classic / progressive rock pairing of two legendary
acts has been announced for 5 new dates in late July
and early August:

Jon Anderson & The Band Geeks' "YES - Epic Classics
& More” with Welcome Back - The Return of Emerson,
Lake & Palmer, which features Keith Emerson and
Greg Lake from the Royal Albert Hall video and Carl
Palmer and his band live in sync and playing all together.



Both acts will be touring separately as well as together in a number of key markets. Between the two acts, all the best loved radio hits of both YES and ELP will be heard in an unforgettable night of music.


Additional dates for both acts together may be announced soon for fall of 2024, as well as several summer and fall dates with The Return of ELP on its own.
