GONZO spendiert uns 30 Discs:


The main disc features a multi-camera shoot DVD, with an accompanying soundtrack mixed by Trevor Rabin from the Shoreline Amphitheatre (8th August 1991) show. Also included in the box is a mixture of fan recordings, desk tapes and FM/Radio Broadcasts. These will be included with the main program, as a way for the band to combat this highly bootlegged tour, where some fans are paying in excess of $70 per show from various Japanese websites. All packaged in a fantastic flight case which accommodates 10 x 'fatpack' style jewel cases each containing 3x discs to make the 30 discs in total. Each heavy-duty flight case has been sprayed individually, and the stickers placed by hand. No two flight cases are the same, making each one unique and a highly collectable piece of rock and roll memorabilia! This item will undoubtedly become both desirable and HIGHLY collectable.

Von GONZO hab ich schon einiges, aber noch nicht viel Gutes hier stehen. Vieles ist schon auf Youtube oder auf anderen Plätzen verfügbar. Aber, ich bin trotzdem gespannt und muss mich damit erst auseinandersetzen.

Hab*s auch bekommen (diese mail), wußte nur nicht wohin damit...
Leider nur die kurzen Konzerte (DCDs) mit DVD!

Das hat schon Gratful Dead Ausmaße.
Den Radio Broadcasts von Stuttgart hatte ich mal auf CD, das waren gerade mal 70 Minuten.
Zwei Songs von minderer Aufnahmequalität wurden dran gehängt.
Bei der Box sind es wohl 3 CDs.
Ob die Box was taugt ist maßgeblich davon abhängig ob die Bootlegs von guter Quali sind.

Das concert in Köln war immerhin 3 Stunden, ist aber nicht mit dabei & die bereits veröffentlichte DVD eben nur 2 Stunden.

Frage an die Experten ?

Bei dem Konzert in Stuttgart war ich damals dabei .... kann man das irgendwo hören ohne diesen riesen Koffer kaufen zu müssen?

Das Teil ist mir zu teuer, das Geld werde ich lieber für andere Dinge verwenden. Ich habe auch schon etliche Mitschnitte als Bootlegs von
der Tour, das reicht ...
Eine gute Box mit Stücken von 83-88 wäre schön, es gibt ja schon Einzelsongs auf diversen Boxen, aber ein kompletter Mitschnitt wäre
mir viel lieber. Ich bin sicher, da schlummert noch was in den Schubladen.

Optisch auf jeden Fall sehr ansprechend!
