Eure Lieblingslyrics !?

Welche Songtexte oder Textstellen gefallen euch besonders?
Haben euch Lyrics schon berührt, zum denken angeregt oder gar beeinflusst?
Gibt’s Stücke bei denen die Lyrics wichtiger sind als die Musik?

Oder ist euch der Inhalt von Liedern völlig Schnuppe?

Für mich sind es meistens die direkten Botschaften die mich an einen Song fesseln.
Ich muss aber sagen, dass 90 % der Songs die ich höre die Texte, bei mir, keine Rolle spielen.
Entweder verstehe ich sie nicht oder sie sind belanglos.
Allerdings sind Musikwerke (bei Rockmusik) wo Text und Musik eine Einheit bilden in meinen Bestenlisten am höchsten angesiedelt.

Es gibt aber auch Werke die ich insgesamt faszinierend finde obwohl ich die Texte im Einzelnen nicht richtig verstehe (z.B. The Lamb lies…., The Wall oder Olias of Sunhillow)

Es gibt aber auch nur einzelne Textzeilen die einen geradezu gefangen nehmen oder mitreißen.

Hier einer meiner Lieblingssongs der sehr einfach gestrickt ist und nur durch den Text richtig kraftvoll wird:

Oh, da gibt es natürlich ganz ganz viele Texte, die mich ansprechen. Spontan fällt mir da ein Titel ein, den ich schon als junger Kerl toll fand. Ein Mensch trifft eine Entscheidung von erheblicher Tragweite. Der Andere oder ich? Mein Leben in Sicherheit und dafür mit Sicherheit der Tod des Anderen? Rael hat sich entschieden.

Weiss jemnad , wo man Liedertexte in deutscher Übersetzung im Internet finden kann?

Grundsätzlich googeln. Es hängt vom einzelnen Song ab, ob man was findet. Insofern sind einzelne konkrete Seiten (die ich schon mal fand) nicht zwingend für die eigenen Wünsche richtig. Ich hab mir inzwischen diese Seiten auch nicht mehr als Favoriten gespeichert, weil sie eben doch lückenhaft sind und sich dauernd was ändert.

Natürlich sind mainstream Lieder eher und öfter übersetzt als z.B. Yes-Sachen. Am besten Suchbegriffkombinationen eingeben >"Song-Titel" Text Übersetzung<.

Einfach mal bei Google den gewünschten Titel, eventuell den/die Interpreten und "deutsch" eingeben. Vielleicht noch Lyrics. Damit kommt man zuweilen zum Ziel.
